Grand Affairs Group recognises the work of the following organisations

All inflatable play equipment requires an annual test in order to comply with the
Health and Safety at Work Act and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER).
This is a legal requirement. It is also a requirement of most insurance companies
and you could find any claim could be void if there is no current inspection report.
This includes bouncy castles, slides, obstacle courses, bungee runs, and all other inflatable games.
Grand Affairs Group provides initial/annual inspections through its Inflatable Testing And Training Service (ITATS) division and all tests are carried out to BS EN 14960 (all parts) by PIPA registered inspectors. ITATS is registered as an inspection body with PIPA and therefore the PIPA Inspection Scheme is used on all inspections that fall within BS EN 14960.
Our inspectors will visit your premises to carry out the inspections. Alternatively hire a local hall in order that we do not have to combat the weather. Why not get together with other Operators and share the cost?
In order that inspections can be carried out quickly and efficiently you should:
Your inspection will include a PAT test on your electrical fan. Extension leads can be PAT tested at an additional cost.
On completion of the inspection your inspector will inform you if the unit has ‘passed’ or ‘failed’. If it has failed then a inspection report will state this until the repair has been completed. All inspection reports (PIPA and ITATS) are now sent via email in the form of a .pdf after the event. You can view and example of our own inspection reports here
Please note that at the present time we do not offer an on site repair service although some of our preferred repairers do.
In order to get your units inspected and ready for the new season why not get them booked in now? Our diary is always open and dates always fill fast throughout the year.
Why not get together with other hirers in your area and share the cost.
All electrical equipment requires a PAT test including fans, extension leads, all work and office based equipment. If we are testing at your premises why not get your office equipment PAT tested at the same time. It will save you money.
Before we inspect equipment here are some useful tips to help get your units through first time.

Grand Affairs Group has been involved in the inflatable industry for over 40 years. With a comprehensive knowledge of the inflatable play industry the Inflatable Testing And Training Service (ITATS) has become one of the leading Inflatable Inspection and Training Companies in the UK.
Inflatable Testing And Training Service (ITATS) is headed up by Peter Grand who is a qualified PIPA Inspector and Trainer. ITATS offers a professional and friendly service that is second to none and offers expert advice regarding many aspects of the inflatable industry.
ITATS are an accredited Inspection And Training Company for Inflatable Play Equipment including Bouncy Castles, Slides, Obstacle Courses Disco Domes etc. under the PIPA Scheme. ITATS also offer annual inspection reports of all inflatables currently not included in the PIPA scheme. Our inspection reports always contain full details of the inspection and a number of photographs. A unique service offered by ITATS.
All inflatables are inspected under BS EN 14960 (all parts), manufacturers/designers/suppliers guidance and any known historical data.
The inspection scheme is designed to cover Inflatables sold and hired for commercial use and not those inflatable play items sold as toys through retail outlets which are governed by separate legislation and European Standards .
PIPA has the full support of the Health & Safety Executive (H.S.E.) which is why ITATS highly recommends the use of the PIPA scheme whenever appropriate. As a registered PIPA inspection body HSE also recognises ITATS Inspection Reports as the Operators compliance to the required legal standards.
ITATS Clients include Operators, Local Authorities, Leisure Providers, Leisure Centres, Community Centres, private individuals and many more.
